Volt is looking for a Trimmer to work with our client, a large aerospace company, located in Renton, WA. We are looking for a candidate who under general supervision can perform a variety of trim processes to fabricate components according to drawings and specifications.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Trim fabricated components using band saw, router and hand power tools; conforming to specifications provided on drawing.
Read and interpret blueprints; use precision mechanical measuring equipment.
Meet schedules and time allowances for production requirements.
This is a possible temp to hire position in Renton, WA and is offered through Volt Workforce Solutions. Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and use scales.
Must be able to read and comprehend job traveler, specifications, and part drawings.
Meet schedules and time allowances for production requirements.
Soft Skills:
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes workplace safety.
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environment control standards.
Sign off on all work performed according to specifications.
Education and/or Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Two years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment. Prefer composite trim experience.
Bonus Skills:
Ability to read and understand detailed instruction; read blueprints; perform mathematical calculation.
Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
Ability to use and read precision measuring equipment; caliper, scale.
