PDS is seeking a Project Management Specialist 3 for an open position in Renton, WA.
Works to improve project management processes and business systems (specifically - Demand Management Visibility System) that support project decision makers in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK , ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008). May lead others and direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers. Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules, and arranges own activities to accomplish those objectives.
Job Specific Details:
Support lead DMVS project manager in completion of required tasks:
-Create/maintain project initiation and change request documentation
-Develop/maintain Agile gates; 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 per required processes
-Assist with requirements development
-Maintain iteration schedule of tasks
-Maintain blockpoint schedule of projects
-Lead Integrated Functional Tests/User Acceptance Tests
Lead SSG and support IT DM, IT DMVS Project Manager(s) for all testing cycles:
-Ensure testers represent impacted services groups, DMVS manager/focal users
-DMVS User Interface (UI) functionality
-Cognos reporting system
-System administration functions
Lead requirements gathering with internal service owners ensuring linkage with DMVS:
-Ensure adherence with established processed for projects/change requests
-Ensure service group owners/focals participation in requirements development
-Lead requirement reviews Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
Support schedule alignment with master integrated schedule:
-Assigned tasks updated weekly
-Provide status with program team(s)

Bachelor''s and typically 6 or more years'' related work experience, a Master''s degree and typically 4 or more years'' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
