Client Engineer - Job
Summary:
The Client Engineer role at The Pok mon Company International will work on the content and development pipeline for multiple products to ensure rapid and stable development. This role will work across development groups to develop gameplay logic and continuous integration processes that will support the life of our products from pre-production to post launch content. These live products will be maintained post launch through multiple content releases which requires multiple tools and resources and a tight collaboration across disciplines. - FLSA Classification (US Only):

What You'll Do
- Partner with multiple disciplines to develop and prove out game features and mechanics.
- Build features in a way that enables easy testing and flexibility during development.
- With a highly collaborative team, you will prototype, design, and develop clean code with your broad knowledge of game systems.
- Performs coding using C#, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
- Conducts code reviews to ensure quality of projects.
- Creates flowcharts and other documentations to identify requirements for software and to propose possible solutions.
- Coordinates with cross-function staff to forecast whether the design will be feasible under cost and time constraints.
- Performs software systems testing with a focus on procedures and programming.
What You'll Bring
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of professional game development experience or a demonstrative equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent years of work experience.
- Proficiency with Unity and C#.
- Experience with a variety of client-based game systems and rapid prototyping.
- Exceptional work ethic and passion for growth.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and present multiple solutions.
- Ability to context switch and adapt with relative ease.
- Effective communication skills, especially within teams and with technical information.
- Ability to accurately identify and navigate risks through the product planning process.
- Experience working with Perforce/version control.
- Experience with live and content supported projects.

- Base salary range:
For this role, new hires generally start between $125,000.00 - $148,200.00. The full range is $125,000.00 - $187,000.00. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired.
