Housing Assistance Coordinator
LHH is actively seeking a committed Housing Choice Voucher Specialist to join our Renton, WA team. In this role, you will be instrumental in administering housing choice vouchers for Section 8 housing, providing crucial support to individuals with low income and tax credits. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in housing administration or related field preferred. Previous experience in housing administration, particularly with Section 8 vouchers and tax credit calculations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for professional interaction with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based communication tools. Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with federal regulations governing housing assistance programs, including drug-free workplace policies. Full-time onsite availability, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for 4-day, 10-hour shifts if required.
