Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager (level L) based out of Renton, WA to lead a team in 737 Final Assembly.
This energetic, engaging and influential leader will hold responsibility for oversight, development and performance of the second shift team.
The ideal candidate for this position will collaborate cross-functionally with peers, subordinates and superiors across all three shifts and multiple functions, driving excellence across the organization.
This position is for 2nd shift however the selected candidate must be able to complete initial training on 1st shift.

Position
Responsibilities:
Leads employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing subject areas.
Develops and implements integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, team members, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)3
years of experience leading and managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams.

years of experience in continuous improvement techniques.

Willing to travel domestically as needed (less than 10%).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)3
years of experience using One Boeing Production Systems (BPS) or Lean Manufacturing.

years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
