Job Description An assigned supervisor is responsible for supervising visits and providing a safe and secure environment that fosters the child's physical and emotional wellbeing as they visit with their non-custodial parent at predetermined locations.
The supervisor's schedule is flexible and determined by the hours of availability and demand for services.
Responsibilities Supervise visits of non-custodial parents and their children, including but is not limited to monitoring and intervening, when necessary, with the parent or child who demonstrates inappropriate physical or verbal behavior.
Maintain contact with scheduler regarding any changes of availability.
Treat all clients with respect and dignity.
To be punctual in arrival and with all communications regarding scheduling.
Abide by the Rules of Confidentiality.
Keep accurate notes of all times and transcribe information into a written report with proper formatting.
Complete visit reports within specified time frames after each visit.
Apprise owner of illness, vacation, etc.
that would necessitate a substitute supervisor with as much notice as possible.
Respect and enforce the rules regarding visitation procedures.
Qualifications The supervisor must be dependable, flexible, and patient.
The supervisor should be sensitive to the needs of all parties involved.
The supervisor should be capable of handling emergencies, if necessary.
The supervisor must hold a valid driver's license if they are going to transport clients.
Time commitments:
The supervisor must be available to work on an assigned case until the client no longer has court-ordered supervision.
Assignments:
All visitation requests are made to and approved by the owner before assignment.
Assignments may be a one-time event or on an ongoing basis.
