Responsibilities:
o Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle-balanced system of systems and system solutionso Evaluate customer and/or operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaceso Performs various analyses to optimize the total system of systems and/or system architectureo Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission successo Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processeso Resolves cross-functional technical issuesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location optionsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
o Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering disciplineo 8
years experience ECS (Environmental Control Systems) backgroundo 10
years experience Requirements background (and other Systems Engineering)o Integration/Program Management experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
o 5 or more years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceo DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System) experienceTypical Education &
Experience:
o Bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 9 more years' experience in an engineering classification.
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard Recommended Skills Program Management Reliability Risk Analysis Survivability Systems Engineering Systems Integration Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
