42- $63.
63 Per Hour, Depending on ExperienceThe Wound Specialist is responsible for providing evaluation, skilled services, consultation, and education for staff regarding wound care.
Functions independently and/or in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team based on the patient's identified needs.
Practice is within the scope defined by the Washington State Discipline Practice Acts.
Required Coursework/Training Graduate of a certification program provided by Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) OR Coursework/Training Graduate of a certification program provided by National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO) OR Required Coursework/Training Graduate of a certification program provided by American Board of Wound Management (ABWM).
Requirements:
1 year long term care or geriatric nursing.
1 year Working with the frail and elderly.
Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
