Contract: 6 months (Part-time)
Location: Renton, WA
adaQuest is hiring a FileMaker Developer - PY for our client in Renton who will develop, support, maintain and implement feature requests for a suite of FileMaker 12 applications and systems in a cross platform creative industry workplace. Successful candidates will have FileMaker technical skills, time management skills, excellent communication skills, and thrive in a team workplace atmosphere.
Qualifications:
5 years' experience with developing relational databases in FileMaker Pro.
Proficient in both Mac and Windows environments
Integrating 3rd party plug-ins into FileMaker Pro solutions
Scripting, XML, SQL and FileMaker Go
Project management methodology experience (Waterfall & Agile)
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent; graduate degree a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Manages work to meet deliverables and deadlines
Curiosity, drive, creativity, and a desire to improve
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Self-starter
FileMaker certified developer preferred
Responsibilities:
Create new FileMaker database applications and systems and communicate ongoing progress in weekly code review meetings
Design and implement new FileMaker Pro development tools based upon requirements and user feedback
Work as a productive team member in support of defining requirements, acceptance criteria and delivery schedules
Assist in the development of functional specifications based on provided vision & scope
Analyze business needs; define goals, propose solutions, identify value
Anticipate associated risks and propose creative solutions to mitigate them
Contribute (as needed) to solution documentation and training to users
Participate in business process review and redesign
Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
